Paul Cook Kansas City Concert reviews
Highly Recommend
I wish there was an option for character meet and greets on Disney on Ice though. If there was, it wasn鈥檛 advertised well on Ticketmaster.
The show itself was magical! Aerial acrobatics, gymnastics, figure skating, dancing, stilts - almost anything you could think of was in the show. The variety it delivered as far as stunts, characters, music, choreography, and all those little details that are signature to Disney were definitely there! I would highly recommend the show.
While the seats were reasonable, the food, drinks, and souvenirs are really where you鈥檒l be shelling out the cash. Almost everything came packaged with a souvenir which made it very expensive. Cotton candy was $15 because they had little hats attached. Snow cones were in character and light up cups so they were $12 I think. They sodas though were $8.50 if you got them in the Indianapolis Pacer cups home to Bankers Life but $17.50 if you got the Disney cup. While I still think $17.50 was ridiculous, I wish popular kid items like cotton candy and snow cones had a non-souvenir, more affordable option. Of course, the actual Disney souvenir stands with dolls, hats, and lights up toys were overpriced, which we all know they will be, it鈥檚 Disney.
We sat in section 113, row 2. Very good seats. I personally felt like the view was spectacular for the price.
My suggestion would be to surprise your kiddos with some new gear and light up toys from someplace cheaper right before and eat before going.
We all loved it, including my husband and I, my youngest being 20 months and my oldest being 8. We plan on doing this every year and highly recommend it!
